MY EXPERIENCES THESE PAST TWO WEEKS

"In wisdom gathered over time I have found that every experience is a form of exploration."

The Philippine National Red Cross- Ilocos Sur Chaprer extended their Red Cross Youth and Community Health and Nursing Services by conducting a two- day Youth Volunteer Orientation and Home Nursing classes such as Care of the Sick and Injured.

Fifty CAT Officers were chosen to attend the seminar ( July 16- 17) from 8:00 am-5;00 pm at the Audio Visual Room.

I gained much knowledge on Medical Services which could be a big help to me specially if I would be given a chance to become the Corps S7.

I had a great time with our facilitators,Ms.Sales and co-pax specially the DARA2 Group (Star, Emz,Reyward, Elgie, Renel, HArley, Carlo, Lorraine, Estregan, Joemar, Robin).

Together with my co-researchers Ruth and Emz, we're all busy in our Investigatory Project (The Feasibility of Water Hyacinths as Fertilizer). We went to UNP for the burning of the water hyacinths, bought complete fertilizer and pechay seeds, made a garden plot, planted those seeds and until now we are on the Observation process.

NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION:

I was one of the contestants of IV- MArconi during the Nutri-Quiz.

" miki, miki, bili na kayo ng miki"- yelled by our group during the Food Festival. Varying delicacies were sold by the students from the four year levels of ISNHS.

MARCONIANs worked as one in the Nutri-Jingle Competition: some composed the contest piece; someone strummed his guitar; others made the props, prepared copies of the jingle and gave suggestions for a nice presentation; the remaining students were the performers.

Some moments to be cherished....meaningful days as a Senior student...
